From the time I first entered this field to the present day, I have been honored to be let into my clients’ lives. To have the opportunity and trust that is required in this therapeutic relationship is something that I consider a privilege and something I never take for granted. I care deeply about others and help individuals tap into their own inner strength, find their voice, and become the best advocate and caregiver for themselves.
With more than 20 years in practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have enjoyed working alongside many diverse organizations. I was on-site at the World Trade Center after the 9/11 attacks and was able to facilitate critical incident stress debriefing groups and individual therapy to help process the traumatic event. Later, I continued my work in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) field as a Northeast Regional Manager for an airline, and years later implemented a New Jersey Hospital’s first internal EAP program for more than 5000 employees.
Through my practice, I provide both individual and couples therapy, as well as specialized sessions for families and groups. I work with my clients to facilitate healing as we process the concerns that affect them on a cognitive, emotional, and physical level. I strive to create an atmosphere of high regard and respect: I actively listen; I share your sense of urgency; and I strive to give you the tools you need to improve the areas of life that you are struggling with.
